Privacy policy
LoadYield helps freight dispatchers find, price and rank loads. This policy explains what the LoadYield Chrome extension and the LoadYield dashboard (loadyield.com, also served at routzio.com) collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What the Chrome extension accesses
- Load postings on supported load boards (Truckstop, DAT One and Echo). When you start a search — from your LoadYield dashboard or the LoadYield button on the board — the extension reads the load postings shown to you on those boards: origin, destination, dates, equipment, weight, rate, distance, commodity, posting notes and the broker details posted with each load (company name, phone number, MC and DOT numbers). It sends them to your LoadYield account over an encrypted connection.
- Which load board tabs are open, so the extension and your dashboard can show that a board is ready. This stays in your browser.
- The LoadYield dashboard page, to connect the extension to your account when you click “Connect extension” and to report whether the extension is installed and connected.
The extension does not read any other website, your browsing history, passwords, cookies, keystrokes or the contents of pages on the load boards other than the load listings. It runs only on the load board and LoadYield sites listed in its permissions.
What is stored in your browser
A connection token for your LoadYield account, your account name and identifiers, the LoadYield address the extension is connected to, and the list of open load board tabs. Disconnecting the extension, or removing it, deletes the token from your browser and revokes it on our servers.
What the dashboard stores
- Your account: name, email address, company and the plan you are on.
- Your searches and the loads they found, the analysis of those loads, and the cost inputs you enter (such as driver pay per mile).
- If you connect Telegram: your Telegram phone number and account name, the list of groups you can post in, and an encrypted Telegram session used only to post the loads you choose to share. Disconnecting Telegram deletes the session and logs that device out of Telegram.
- Usage records needed to run the service and enforce plan limits (for example, how many analyses you ran).
How we use it
Only to provide LoadYield to you: showing your loads, estimating lane costs and routes, ranking loads with AI, and posting loads to Telegram when you ask us to. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending. LoadYield's use of information received from the Chrome extension complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Who processes it for us
We share data only with the providers that run parts of the service, and only what each one needs:
- Hosting and databases (Heroku, MongoDB, Redis) — all account and load data.
- AI analysis (OpenAI, or OpenRouter when your account uses it) — the load details of the search being analyzed, without your name or email.
- Maps and routing (Mapbox) — the origin and destination cities of loads.
- Fuel prices (U.S. Energy Information Administration) — no personal data.
- Telegram — the load summaries you choose to send, to the groups you choose.
We may also disclose information when required by law.
Security
All traffic uses HTTPS. Extension tokens and connection codes are stored only as one-way hashes; Telegram sessions are encrypted at rest. Access to production data is limited to the people who operate the service.
Retention and your choices
We keep your data while your account is active. You can disconnect the extension or Telegram at any time from the dashboard or the extension. To get a copy of your data or have your account and its data deleted, email [email protected]; we respond within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above and, for material changes, tell you in the dashboard before they take effect.
